00400		The reasons for wanting to do something in the touch area all seem
00500	valid to me, and the proposals of what to do seem reasonable.  The
00600	only question is the impact of an effort in this direction on
00700	our work in vision.  Do we have the resources to continue our work
00800	in vision and expand it to cover new areas as they arise and still
00900	have some reserve in money and manpower?  Perhaps we should ask
01000	ourselves whether we have someone who wants to work with touch
01100	and who is not committed to an essential vision project.
